(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski says the intent behind Fentanyl out on the streets is to "kill" users.
"These things are manufactured, the chemicals are made in China, they're sent over to Mexico where they're manufactured into these fake pills. The intent is not really to create a group of addicts. The intent is to poison people, kill them," said Zibolski.
Zibolski says drug traffickers look at the citizens in the U.S. as 330 million "potential victims".
"Our seizures as part of the Cass County Drug Task Force in terms of M30 pills went from one thousand pills in 2021 to almost 38,000 pills at the end of 2022," said Zibolski.
The chief made the comments while appearing on "What's on Your Mind" on AM 1100 The Flag.
