(Fargo, ND) -- A Moorhead man is behind bars after leading multiple different law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase Sunday.

The Fargo Police Department tells WDAY Radio the driver of a stolen U-Haul is under arrest after crashing it during a chase that stretched into Moorhead. At just after 5 p.m, officers say they located the truck in the 2100 block of Main Avenue after it was reported stolen. The officer there attempted to stop the driver, 40-year-old David Jacobsen, who then fled.

After a short time, the truck was located again on I-94 heading into Clay County. The Minnesota State Patrol and Clay County Sheriff then picked up the chase, leading to the crash into a snow bank near the intersection of 17th street south and 34th avenue.

Jacobsen was taken into custody without incident, and faces several charges including receiving stolen property and fleeing police in a motor vehicle.

He is being held in the Clay County Jail.
