Fargo I-29 crash leaves North Carolina woman seriously injured

(Fargo, ND) -- One person is seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash along I-29.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened in Fargo on I-29 near 13th Ave. Authorities say Latoya Watson-Tyson, a 36-year-old  Roxboro, North Carolina resident, was driving in the middle lane when she lost control and struck another vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Fargo resident Sawn Wanner. Both vehicles struck the concrete median, with Watson-Tyson's vehicle coming to a rest on the guardrail. Watson-Tyson suffered serious injuries, and Wanner was uninjured in the crash.

Charges have not been filed at this time, but an investigation is ongoing. Stay with WDAY Radio as more details become available.
