(Cass County, ND) -- The search continues for the suspect that led the Cass County Sheriff's office on a chase in a rural part of the county, then into Fargo early Tuesday morning.

The Department tells WDAY Radio that shortly after 2:00 a.m, a Cass County Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle south of Gardner on County Road 81. The responsible vehicle fled from the attempted traffic stop location and entered onto I-29, traveling southbound with deputies pursuing the vehicle.

A tire deflation device was successfully deployed by deputies, significantly decreasing the responsible vehicles speeds as the pursuit continued into Fargo. The pursuit was eventually terminated inside the city limits.

Shortly after 4:00 a.m, the Fargo Police Department located the vehicle unoccupied. Law enforcement conducted an inventory search of the vehicle, locating drug paraphernalia and multiple clothing items believed to be stolen property.
