West Fargo Public Schools announce Gerald Brown as new Director of Aquatics for the Hulbert Aquatic Center

(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo Public Schools have announced their new Director of Aquatics for the Hulbert Aquatic Center.

In a statement released to WDAY Radio, District Business Manager Levi Bachmeier announced that Gerald Brown has accepted the position of Director of Aquatics for the Hulbert Aquatic Center. 

Brown has nearly a decade of poolside experience as a Lifeguard, Swim Coach, and Pool Manager. He has also held positions in events coordination and development. He holds a master's degree in health science and a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and wellness management with three minors in recreation administration, strength and conditioning, and coaching, all from Lindenwood University.

"Gerald’s passion for aquatics is evident from the moment you meet him," said Bachmeier. "Whether hosting regional and national events, supporting our high school swimming teams, or expanding our community programming, he will serve as a great ambassador for the Hulbert Aquatic Center and for West Fargo Public Schools.”

Brown will assume his new role on March 20th.
