Low interest loans offered for home improvement projects in FM metro and surrounding communities

(Fargo, ND) -- If you've lived in your home for awhile, and are looking to make improvements, low interest loans for such projects are now available.

"At Gate City Bank everything we do revolves around creating a better way of life for our customers in our community, our team members, and we live that out by investing in our communities," said Sherri Smith, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking for Gate City Bank.

Smith says the bank is offering a total of $15 million in low-interest loans to homeowners in the FM metro, and to homeowners in other communities in North Dakota and Minnesota. The money can be used for a range of home improvement projects including patio additions, new garages, and safety repairs. The deadline to apply is October 31st. Smith says it's first come first served. 

The program applies to homes built prior to 2006.
