(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota Air National Guard members recently helped with a search-and-rescue mission at sea.

Members of the 119th Wing were training in Guam in early February when the Coast Guard received a mayday call.

The Fargo-based unmanned aerial vehicle responded to assess a situation with a vessel that was taking on water and had three people aboard.

Military officials say the entire mission was flown from Fargo.
