(West Fargo, ND) -- The West Fargo Police Department is issuing a reminder to residents to register pet licenses for the year.
City ordinance 11-0102 requires dogs and cats above 12 weeks old to be licensed yearly, which must be renewed yearly. There are multiple ways to license your pets, with a full list of options available by clicking here...
- Bring proof of vaccination to the West Fargo Police Department. A specialist will issue the license following verification of the vaccination.
- Applying online by clicking here.
- Applying at one of three different vet clinics within the city. You can see a list of the clinics by clicking here.
A first time charge of $6 is placed on each spayed or neutered dog or cat for the first three animals. Any dog or cat license in excess of three costs $100. The licenses are valid until December 31st, and must be renewed each year.
