Fargo Police issue warning over phone scam circulating area

(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Police Department says a scam is floating through the community.

Several residents report they have received phone calls from someone claiming to be a Fargo Police Sergeant asking for money. The department says to NOT respond to these calls, and to generally never give out financial or personal information over the phone to someone you don't trust.
