Semi and Snow Plow collide on I-94 in Clay County

(Clay County, MN) -- A Semi driver was taken to Sanford Hospital after a crash involving a snow plow in Clay County Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol tells WDAY Radio that the Semi, driven by 27-year-old Joshua Thomas of Brantley, Alabama, was headed eastbound on I-94 near milepost 24 in Humboldt Township around 9:23 a.m. when it collided with the plow, driven by 58-year-old Todd Meyer of Barnesville.

Both vehicles came to a rest in the median after the collision. Meyer was not hurt.

Thomas is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and possible charges are pending.
