Thunder Road updates interior space ahead of summer season

(Fargo, ND) — Interior changes are finished just in time for Thunder Road’s summer season.

The Fargo-based summertime amusement park reconstructed the interior of their building over the 2022 – 2023 winter season. Officials at Thunder Road say it was time to make changes because the design was outdated in multiple aspects, specifically the colored tile flooring. The interior of the main space faced a few redesigns, with the possibility of a mural to come in the coming years.

The main atrium was not the only part of the building to see changes. Fans of the lazer tag arena can expect to see changes to the paint designs, which now looks to emulate a dark forest. A painted neon sign reminiscent of the Fargo Theater also is present in the black-lit arena.

More changes seem to be on the way to Thunder Road as well. When asked if more changes are likely in the coming years…

“We’ve got a couple things up our sleeves, we just haven’t pulled the trigger on them quite yet, “said James Tandeski, President of Thunder Road. “We are kinda hoping maybe a new attraction here, but that’s probably in the next one to three years…It’s going to be the first in North Dakota.”
