(Fargo, ND) — Fargo Police say a suspect entered a bank Thursday morning, and said to the teller, “call police, I’m robbing the bank.”
It happened around 8:15 at First National Bank in the 4500 block of 40th Avenue South.
Police say the suspect asked the teller for $1,000.
The man did not display a weapon and sat down in the lobby.
Officers responding to the scene arrested the man without incident.
He’s identified as 34-year-old Kashif Grant.
Police say he does not have a permanent address.
Grant was arrested for robbery (Class C felony) and transported to the Cass County Jail.
Police say no further details are being released at this time as the case remains under investigation.
