(Fargo, ND) — Fargo is helping residents get rid of their old holiday lights.
The city is offering a free recycling program for unwanted festive light decorations through January.
Residents can drop off LED lights, or older styles, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
A residential transfer station off Seventh Avenue North is also accepting cardboard and other waste.
The initiative is designed to ensure the city remains environmentally-friendly during and after the holiday season.
