MOORHEAD (WDAY) – An MSUM student and current Miss Minnesota will compete at the Miss America competition this week.
Angelina Amerigo is a Presidential Honors Student, majoring in Digital Media Management at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
“My eyes filled with joyful tears this morning as I embark on this journey I have dreamt of for years…Day after day… year after year… I envisioned this very moment. The day I would embark on competing for the opportunity of a lifetime. Here’s to taking a deep breath & letting go to let God carry out His beautiful plan for me. Thank you, Jesus, for this opportunity to share your light on the @MissAmerica stage,” Amerigo said of the experience and opportunity to compete.
The 2024 Miss America competition will take place in Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Sunday.
Following a personal interview, and three preliminary nights showcasing talent, fitness, and eveningwear, one woman will be crowned Miss America.
