(Fargo, ND) -- An early morning crash in Fargo involving multiple vehicles led to a citation single citation.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash occurred at the intersection of I-29 and 25th Street South on the westbound exit ramp. Authorities say the crash involved five vehicles, and began with one driven by Jesse Hoeper (35m, Fargo) as he approached a stop light and sideswiped two other vehicles, driven by Aysan Hussein (34f, Moorhead) and Brenda Carlson (53f, Barnesville). Hoeper's vehicle then rear-ended another vehicle, driven by Shavo Dew-Steber (20m, Moorhead). Dew-Steber's vehicle was then pushed into another vehicle, driven by Holly Heimark (53f, Detroit Lakes).

No injuries were reported. No charges are currently filed, but Hoeper was cited for operating a vehicle that was unsafe, with officials saying it had brake issues. The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
