MINNETONKA, Minn. – Medica is temporarily shutting down its headquarters after the recent murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
A spokesman with the health insurer says safety concerns surfaced after Wednesday’s deadly shooting in New York City. The crime led Medica to close its offices through December 13th to reduce the visibility of its top executives.
