(Charleston, SC) --Thousands of lottery players are going home with more money in their pockets.
The South Carolina Education Lottery says almost 14-thousand people who played the Pick 3 drawing last Tuesday won the top prize.
The numbers drawn were a simple eight-eight-eight, and the winners are expected to get either 250 or 500-dollars.
Officials said almost three-point-five-million-dollars will be paid out to the winners.
