Man Arrested With Gun, Ammo Outside Vice President's Residence

(Washington, DC) -- Washington D.C. Police arrested a man with guns near the official Vice President's residence Wednesday.

Officers say they found 31-year-old Paul Murray outside the Vice President's Naval Observatory official residents with a rifle and ammunition in his car. He had traveled from San Antonio,Texas and it's not clear if intended to threaten Vice President Kamala Harris.The good news was, she wasn't home.

The official residence of the VP is undergoing renovations while she and her husband stay at Blair House, which is across from the White House.

Charges against Murray are pending.
