Lake Tahoe Earthquake The Second Quake In Two Days

(South Lake Tahoe, CA) -- The Lake Tahoe area is dealing with yet another earthquake after one struck early Monday morning.  

The three-point-two magnitude quake was centered about five miles west of Dollar Point, California along the northwest shore of Lake Tahoe.  

It hit in the same spot where a three-point-eight magnitude quake was felt on Sunday morning. Several aftershocks from the earthquake have been reported. They range from magnitudes of one-point-zero to two-point-eight, according to the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno.
