(Silver Spring, MD) -- Discovery is debuting a new competitive TV series where contestants will compete for the opportunity to spend eight days at the International Space Station.
The winning contestant on "Who Wants to be an Astronaut?" could get a spot on Axiom Space's AX-2 mission.
The eight-part competition series will start next year and will feature "extreme challenges."
Anyone can apply to be on the show by turning in a one-minute video answering questions from the online application.
