(Los Angeles, CA) -- Actor Billy Porter says he has had HIV for 14 years.
Porter won an Emmy two years ago for his role of Pray Tell, a character who is HIV-positive in the FX series "Pose." He told the Hollywood Reporter his life was a mess in 2007 after being diagnosed not only with HIV, but also Type Two diabetes.
He said today medical breakthroughs allow him to have undetectable levels of the virus in his system.
