(Honolulu, HI) -- The U.S. Navy is confirming that a Russian spy ship is parked off of Hawaii.
The Honolulu Star Advertiser reports the ship has been in international waters about 13 miles off the coast of Kauai for several days.
Navy officials say it has prevented them from conducting a missile defense agency test.
They say it's not clear if the Russian vessel is giving off an identification signal, but if it is, it would be a clear sign the ship's presence may be to interfere with the missile test.
