(Washington, DC) -- President Biden is urging Congress to take steps to lower prescription drug prices.
Biden is highlighting the issue during a speech at the White House Thursday.
He argues that crippling drug prices are unacceptable as the nation tries to recover from the ongoing COVID pandemic.
Estimates point to price hikes on hundreds of medicines this year.
