Southwest Hoping to Return to Normal Monday

(Dallas, TX) -- Anyone taking to the skies on Southwest is urged to call ahead first.

The airline canceled more than eleven-hundred flights Sunday due to air traffic control issues and weather. This left passengers stranded across the nation with Denver, Baltimore, Dallas and Chicago hit the hardest.

The company apologized for the long waits before canceling even more flights Monday, but hopes things will be closer to normal by this afternoon.
