(Washington, DC) -- Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading expert on coronavirus, is reassuring parents it's safe to take their kids trick-or-treating this Halloween.
He told CNN that's because it'll mostly be outdoors, where the virus doesn't spread as easily. He told families they should enjoy all the holidays coming up, but says this is still a good time to reflect why it's important to get vaccinated.
Fauci did warn that more people need to be protected for cases, deaths and hospitalizations to keep going down.
