California Beaches Reopening Monday After Oil Spill

(Huntington Beach, CA) -- Major progress is being made on a massive oil spill off the coast of California.

Swimmers and surfers can head back to Huntington Beach Monday. The city is reopening all beaches earlier than expected after a pipeline leaked 132-thousand gallons of oil into the ocean last week.

Officials have been testing the water at 40 different sites to ensure it's safe and plan to continue for at least two more weeks.
