(Dallas, TX) -- The strictest abortion law in the nation is staying in place.
A federal appeals court sided with the state for a second time in banning women from ending their pregnancy after six weeks. This suspends a lower court ruling that had blocked the law and will continue while the legal challenges play out.
The Justice Department is expected to take the case to the Supreme Court, which allowed the law to begin last month.
