White House Unveils Plans to Offer COVID-19 Vaccine to Kids 5-11

(Washington, DC) -- The Biden administration is ready to vaccinate children ages 5 to 11.

Wednesday, the White House layed out plans to distribute the coronavirus vaccines "quickly, conveniently, and equitably" to children across the country. The initiatives will be put into place soon after the FDA and the CDC recommend vaccines for young children.

The plan includes making kids' vaccines available in more than 25-thousand pediatric offices and primary care sites, thousands of pharmacies, and more than 100 children's hospitals and health systems.
