(Washington, DC) -- First-time claims for unemployment benefits fell again last week.
Thursday morning's report by the Labor Department shows 269-thousand Americans filed initial jobless claims last week. That's 14-thousand fewer than the week before and the lowest total in 20 months.
Most economists had forecast Thursday's number coming in at right around 275-thousand.
