(Brunswick, GA)-- A jury has found the three defendants guilty on most charges in the Ahmaud Arbery murder trial.

Travis McMichael was found guilty on all nine charges in the case, while his father, Gregory, was found guilty of eight of the nine charges. William 'Roddie" Bryan was found guilty on six charges related to the incident.

The prosecution argued the young Black man was murdered without justification while jogging in a neighborhood in Brunswick, Georgia. The decision comes after a month of court proceedings, including a lengthy jury selection process that began October 18th. Video shows the three men ran down the 25-year-old as he jogged along a neighborhood in Brunswick, Georgia nearly two years ago.

Attorneys for the defendants claim he was killed in self-defense when he resisted a citizens' arrest. The McMichaels and Bryan face life in prison.
