(Manhattan, New York) -- A jury has convicted Ghislaine Maxwell on 5 of 6 counts related to sexual abuse and trafficking underage girls.

After 40 hours of jury deliberations, they found Maxwell guilty of one count of sex trafficking a minor, one of transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three related to ones of conspiracy. Maxwell was acquitted of the sixth charge, enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts.

Ghislaine Maxwell was charged in Manhattan Federal Court for conspiring with Jeffrey Epstien to sexually abuse minors. Both Epstien and Maxwell allegedly worked for over a decade to both groom and sexually assault underage girls.
