(Washington, DC) -- President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will speak Thursday to mark the first anniversary of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
That announcement came from the White House Sunday. Biden has repeatedly called the insurrection a "dark day in U.S. history."
While the House won't be in session, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has announced some of what will happen Thursday, including a moment of silence, time for lawmakers to share their January 6th stories, and a prayer vigil.
