(Moscow) -- The president of Russia is accusing the U.S. of trying to push his country into a war with Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin spoke about the crisis, claiming security concerns are being ignored. He has 100-thousand troops gathered at the border, but insists an attack can be avoided and left the door open to a diplomatic solution.

Putin is demanding a promise that Ukraine will never become a member of NATO. He also wants NATO forces in Europe scaled back.
