(Munich) -- Vice President Kamala Harris says there will be "severe consequences" if Russia invades Ukraine.

She made that comment while meeting with the NATO secretary-general at the Munich Security Conference. Harris said those consequences would come in the form of sanctions from the U.S. She also described the present situation as a "dynamic moment in time."

Speaking with reporters on Thursday, President Biden said a Russian invasion could start in the next several days.
