(Washington, DC) -- A bill to overhaul the U.S. Postal Service is on its way to President Biden's desk.
The bill that overhauls the service's finances and allows the agency to modernize was overwhelmingly passed in the Senate Tuesday. The legislation changes two healthcare mandates currently on the Postal Service that are expected to save it 50 billion dollars over the next decade.
The bill would also mandate the U-S-P-S to launch and online dashboard with local and national delivery time information.
