China Eastern Airlines plane crashes, 132 on board

(Guangxi Province, China) -- A passenger jetliner is down in China.

A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 carrying 123 passengers and nine crew members has crashed in the mountains in southern China. Rescue efforts are underway but the country's Civil Aviation Administration fears no one survived.

Prior to Monday, China's last major airline crash was in August, 2010, when 42 people were killed.
