(Ukraine) -- More refugees are returning to Ukraine despite a raging war.

The number hit nearly 23-thousand just on Saturday, making the most in one day since Russia invaded seven weeks ago. The United Nations says four-and-a-half million people have escaped the fighting so far, with 60-percent crossing into neighboring Poland. But it's estimated seven million others remain out of their homes inside Ukraine.

Nine evacuation corridors are opening Monday.
