(Washington, DC) -- The National Urban League is warning democracy may be on the verge of collapse.
The civil rights organization released its "State of Black America" report. It claims some lawmakers, consultants and violent extremists are trying to manipulate and intimidate people, and establish a one-party rule that works against Black and brown voters.
The report argues voter suppression and income inequality will "precipitate the collapse of democracy."
