Stocks Slide On Economic Worries, Dow Drops 800+ 

(New York, NY)  --  Investors dumped stocks fearing a economic slowdown, leading the Dow Jones Industrial Average to drop more than 800 points.  All three major indexes tumbled with the Nasdaq falling nearly four-percent ahead of quarterly earnings reports from big tech companies.  Boeing, Nike, Tesla, Microsoft and Alphabet led markets lower. Bank stocks also tanked.  At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 809 points to 33-240.  The S&P 500 fell 120 points to 41-75.  The Nasdaq dropped 514 points to 12-490.
