(Mariupol) -- The evacuation of civilians from a steel plant in the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol has been slow-going.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced early Sunday that civilians had begun to be evacuated from the plant.
He said more than 100 civilians were able to evacuate before efforts had to be put on hold.
