(New York, NY) -- Actor Billy Crystal is battling COVID ahead of a planned hiatus for his Broadway show "Mr. Saturday Night."

The nine-time Oscars host tweeted he took every precaution imaginable, saying don't think COVID can't happen to you.

"Mr. Saturday Night" was canceled Saturday as the show headed into a week-long hiatus because Crystal had a prior commitment. The show is based on the actor's 1991 movie about a washed up Borscht belt comedian. It's snagged five Tony nominations and will return June 7th.
