Economy adds 390,000 jobs in May, unemployment rate stands pat

(Washington, DC) -- The economy added 390-thousand jobs in May, while the unemployment rate remained at three-point-six percent.

Job growth slowed after 436-thousand jobs were added in April, though numbers were slightly higher than economists predicted.

Around 325,000 jobs were projected to be added in May.
