(Washington, DC) -- House Democrats are asking the Federal Trade Commission to address online baby formula price gouging.

New Jersey's Frank Pallone Junior and Virginia's Bobby Scott have sent a letter to the FTC urging them to crack down on Internet profiteering as the nationwide baby formula shortage continues.

The Democratic congressmen are urging the FTC to get Internet marketplaces like Amazon, Facebook and eBay, to detect and stop vendors from jacking up the price of baby formula and advertising fake products.
