Nike to leave Russia entirely

(Beaverton, OR) -- Nike is exiting the Russian market completely.

The decision by the sneaker giant comes after it suspended operations in the country back in March following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It told customers that product shipments couldn't be guaranteed.

In a statement, Nike said its priority is to ensure it fully supports its employees as it begins to scale down operations. Nike operated more than 100 stores in the country.
