(Washington, DC) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the Rules Committee will get busy Friday morning on the gun safety bill the Senate approved on Thursday.

The Senate passed the most sweeping firearms legislation in more than a quarter-century on a 65-to-33 vote that saw 15 Republicans, including minority leader Mitch McConnell join all 50 Democrats.

Pelosi said the Rules Committee will meet to advance the bill to the House floor.
