(San Francisco, CA) -- Uber says reports of sexual assaults on U.S. rides totaled more than 38-hundred in 2019 and 2020.
However, that reflected a 38-percent decline over the previous two years as the COVID pandemic drove down rider numbers.
Uber saw 200-million fewer rides in 2019 and 2020, compared to 2017 and 2018. The numbers were reported in a safety report on Uber's website.
