(Menomonee Falls, WI) -- Kohl's is ending talks to sell its business because the retail environment has significantly deteriorated since the bidding process began.
Kohl's said Friday it no longer plans to sell to Franchise Group, which owns The Vitamin Shoppe chain.
Kohl's also cut its outlook for the second quarter, blaming softer consumer spending and the highest inflation in 40 years.
