(Los Angeles, CA) -- Johnny Depp is making his first movie since winning a defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard.
The actor will reportedly play French King Louis the Fifteenth in a movie being funded by Netflix. The film called "La Favorite" is centered around the King's relationship with his third mistress, who was guillotined during the French Revolution.
It's scheduled for a release in French theaters sometime next year.
