(Washington, DC) -- President Biden is re-emerging after recovering from a mild case of COVID.

Speaking from the White House Rose Garden Wednesday afternoon, Biden noted he tested negative twice after isolating the past few days.

He said he's "feeling great." Biden warned about the spread of the B-A-5 subvariant and said COVID is "still with us." Biden insisted full vaccinations and booster shots can prevent serious illness, hospitalization and death. He said people should take full advantage of "life-saving tools," including wearing masks in crowded indoor spaces.

Biden praised the effectiveness of the COVID treatment Paxlovid, which he took during his isolation. He worked remotely from the White House residence after testing positive late last week. Biden left the Rose Garden event and returned to work in the Oval Office.
