(Van Horn, Texas) -- Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin is making history after sending the first Egyptian and Portuguese nationals to space on Thursday.

A spokeswoman confirmed six paying passengers, with a price yet to be revealed, were onboard on the company's sixth crewed flight -- though Egyptian engineer Sara Sabry's seat was sponsored by the nonprofit Space for Humanity.

Entrepreneur Mario Ferreira represented Portugal while Coby Cotton, one of five co-founders of the popular YouTube sports and comedy channel Dude Perfect, took the special trip as well.
